According to The Times-Tribune, about 142,000 of PPL’s customers remained without power as of 9 pm Sunday. About 109,000 of those customers were in the Lehigh Valley region. Some areas of the county saw as much as 13 inches of snow, but many of those people still had power early Sunday.
In addition, the snow from Saturday totaled 13 inches in Moscow, 10 inches in Clarks Summit, and 16 inches in Hazleton. AccuWeather senior meteorologist Alan Reppert states that the snow should be melted by Tuesday.
